Ten minutes ago Titanic faced a huge white silhouette 500 metters ahead, the crow’s Nest ring the bells 3 times, so the bridge recived the news right in time to give orders to turn left and avoid the ice. 30 seconds wasn’t enough to avoid the iceberg, the ship hit it causing a hateful noise, bothering the passengers who still were awake on the ballrooms and restaurants and waking up the ones who were sleeping. A silent and calm night was now a growing riot.
Smith woke up and asked what was wrong, he was informed that the ship had struck an iceberg in 5 compartments, taking 90 metters. Andrews, after watching all the damages informs Smith: “It will sink…one hour, two if we’re lucky.”
The eerie atmosphere is on, everyone is confused. Some people play with the ice that fell on the bow and on the A deck promenade. Ladies in their nightgowns are out their cabins asking the crew what happens, they only can answer: “It’s only a normal procedure, you can go back to sleep, madame.”
The water now hits 4 metters above the waterline, the air temperature is bellow zero and the silence is now broken by the crew, who start to recieve the first orders of getting the lifeboats out.

The countdown begins…
